Description:
An evergreen tree or shrub with a wide distribution in Guizhou, Gansa and Sichuan provinces in the People's Republic of China. Cedarwood Chinese oil has a lower cedrol content than American oil and is used more in its own right as fragrance oil than as a source of chemical isolates. Numerous herbal and pet shampoos and natural repellents contain Cedarwood Chinese oil as an active ingredient.

Uses:
It’s used as an insect repellent and also in cosmetics. Today, it is widely used for aromatherapy. It is an oil of utmost value that not only helps in cleaning up coughs and phlegm from the respiratory system but also helps in maintaining calm and balance between your mind and body.

DIY (do it yourself):
1. A few drops in a hot bath keeps soreness away and eases the mind.
2. Can apply directly onto wounds concentrated or diluted for sensitive skin.
3. Add 1-3 drops into 4 ml water for use as a mouthwash.
4. Add to a room diffuser using several drops to neutralize offensive smells and cleanse the area.

Blends Well With: Rosewood, Bergamot, Jasmine, Juniper, Neroli, Frankincense, Clary Sage, Vetiver, Rosemary, Ylang-ylang.

Cautions:
If used in higher concentration, it can cause irritation on skin. Also, it should be avoided during the pregnancy phase.
