Uses:
1. This unpretentious essential oil is used in aromatherapy to create the feeling of happiness and warmth, while calming nervous digestive problems.
2. It deals very well with colds and the flu, eliminates toxins and stimulates the lymphatic system, while supporting collagen formation in the skin.
DIY (do it yourself):
1. Massage oil mix: 4 drops sweet orange oil, 2 drops black pepper oil, 2 drops neroli oil in 15 ml jojoba oil.
2. Blend equal parts of cocoa and mango butter together and add in a few drops of orange essential oil for smooth lips.
Blends Well With: Basil, Bergamot, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Clary Sage, Clove, Coriander, Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Geranium, Ginger, Grapefruit, Jasmine, Juniper, Lavender, Lemon, Litsea Cubeba, Marjoram, Myrrh, Neroli, Nutmeg, Patchouli, Petitgrain, Rose, Sandalwood, Vetiver, Ylang Ylang.
Cautions:
It is a safe non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitizing oil, yet care must be taken with it since it can have a phototoxic effect. It should therefore preferably not be applied before going out into sunlight for prolonged periods.
