Also popular by the name bastard Lavander, Lavandin oil is steam distilled from the flower part of hybrid between Lavander and Spike Lavander plants. Blending well with cinnamon, citronella, clary sage, pine, jasmine and other constituents, it is found to be very useful in cases of muscle stiffness, aches and pains as well as common infections related to the lungs.

Uses:
Lavandin is used as fragrance in perfumery, soaps, detergents sprays, deodorizers, hair products, toiletries and cleaning products. Also used in aromatherapy applications, and as commercial flavoring in foods and alcoholic and soft drinks. It is antidepressant, antiseptic, analgesic cicatrisin', expectorant, nervine and vulnerary.
DIY (do it yourself):
Just mix three to four drops with 2 ml of olive oil (about 40 drops) to clear away skin problems like blemishes and dryness.
Blends Well With: Bergamot, Citronella, Lemongrass, Cinnamon, Rosemary, Pine, Jasmine, Thyme.
Cautions:
Lavandin oil is non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitizing. It is a non-toxic essential oil but should be used with caution in case of any allergic reaction.
